Bombay Bicycle Club – ‘Beg’

Releasing a bonus track is something that is rarely seen but Bombay Bicycle Club have done exactly that with their new single ‘Beg’ from their third studio album A Different Kind of Fix. The band released the video for this track just 3 days before it’s release date (see below) they warned their fans via Facebook that it involves some ‘pretty badass dance moves’

The track begins with an array of various percussion making it instantly interesting to listen to. The moment Jack Steadman’s trademark vocals come in you can recognise it as a Bombay Bicycle Club track. The word that springs to mind when describing the song is ‘funky!’. It makes you involuntarily tap your feet and bob your head along to it’s cool beats.

I’m impressed by the song but not overwhelmed by it’s greatness. There is nothing spectacular yet nothing worse than average. Overall a solid new single from Bombay Bicycle Club.
