Gwen Stefani returns this week with This Is What The Truth Feels Like, and Primal Scream will be releasing their eleventh studio album. The singles side of things is headed by an uplifting new release from Clean Cut Kid.

Primal Scream are releasing their 11th Studio Album Chaosmosis on Friday. The lead single ‘Where the Light Gets in’ features American Singer, Sky Ferreira and the band will be releasing the album on their first international label, Ignition Records. The band will be playing at festivals including Electric Fields and Boardmasters this summer. Out Via Ignition Records.

Iggy Pop will also be releasing his 17th Album to date Post Pop Depression, an Album depicting the life of a star trying to live up to his legacy. Josh Homme and Iggy Pop worked closely together to finish the album with Homme, who claimed the record helped him to cope with the aftermath of the attack at the Bataclan in November 2015. Out Via Loma Vista.

Alongside Iggy Pop and Primal Scream, another experienced star, Gwen Stefani, is releasing a solo album this Friday titled This is What the Truth Feels Like after it’s original release was due for December. The Album was influenced by Stefani’s marriage and the emotions she felt at the time. Originally due for release. Out Via Interscope Records.

‘Pick Me Up’ is the third release from four piece Clean Cut Kid, following in the footsteps of the summery ‘Vitamin C’, and ‘Runaway’. It’s as uplifting as they come, paired with a video of the band helping g guy get through household chores. The perfect Sunday housework song, and well, the perfect pick me up. Out via Polydor.

Copenhagen based four piece Liima release ‘Amerika’ this week. It’s a long track, emerging from layered chaos that is eventually permeated by the clean vocals of the band. It’s an exciting track, with a lot going on- and well worth sinking into. Out via 4AD.

‘Grand Affection’ is the latest track to spill from Swim Deep’s sophomore album, Mothers, released last year. It develops from 80s synth-pop dreaminess, paired with lead vocalist Austin Williams’ slowly paced and slightly nasally vocals. Out via Sony Music Entertainment Ltd.
