A teaser for the sequel to Disney’s 2012 film Wreck-It Ralph showed characters from Marvel, Disney, and Star Wars together on the screen at Friday’s D23 Expo.

The film, entitled Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, will introduce a new character, YESSS (voiced by Taraji P. Henson), who will join Wreck-It Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) as they head into the internet to attempt to fix von Schweetz’s game, Sugar Rush.

In the search for the missing piece that will fix the game, the characters enter the website OhMyDisney.com, where they are met by characters from the Marvel franchise (Iron Man, Gamora, and comic creator Stan Lee), and Stormtroopers from the Star Wars films, who are involved in guarding the palace where Disney’s princesses are hiding.  The princesses, ranging from The Little Mermaid‘s Ariel to Brave’s Merida, will be rendered into Pixar’s animation style, and will be voiced by their original voice actors.

Rich Moore, who will direct the film, commented on the crossover, saying: “To take these characters we love and have them enter the enormous world of the internet has given us so much to explore.”

He continued, adding, “Our production team has been hard at work designing a world that takes something we all think we know – the internet – but shows it in a whole new, imaginative way.”

Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 will be released in cinemas next year.  Watch a trailer for the original below:
