Nadia Rose, Mabel and M.O. added to new urban stage at V-Festival

V Festival 2017 just keeps on giving and after we announced the stream of top-class acts set to perform, including headliners Pink and Jay-Z, we thought the line-up was complete. But they have surprised us with a whole brand-new stage, labelled ‘V-Street’.

The new stage will showcase the hottest upcoming urban artists, including Nadia Rose, M.O. and BBC Sound of 2016 nominee Mabel who became famous through her hit single ‘Thinking of You’.

M.O. have risen to fame over the last year, after a string of commercial successes, including ‘Who Do You Think Of’ and ‘Not In Love’. Their relaxed and cool 90’s-inspired hip-hop sound is bound to work perfectly within the summer festival vibe and I’m excited to see how M.O. fares in their major festival debut.

Nadia Rose, meanwhile, is an up-and-coming name on everyone’s lips. The Croydon rapper has bought her unique rap approach to the grime scene and has stamped her authority as a female MC that deserves her place next to the likes of Stormzy or Skepta. To find out more about the brand new stage, and take a look through the whole line-up, just visit the V Fest Lineup page.
