Pokémon Sun and Moon reveal new Pokémon forms

Following yesterday’s leak, The Pokémon Company has released a trailer officially announcing multiple new creatures for Pokémon Sun and Moon.

However, fans are most excited for the new forms announced for several of the series’ oldest monsters.

In the newest games, certain Pokémon are receiving redesigns based the new tropical setting, theorised to be based on the idea of natural selection and evolution.

Among the Pokemon receiving a new “Alolan” form is Raichu, the evolved form of the famous mascot character Pikachu. Unlike his original form, Raichu is now a Psychic type Pokémon and can use his tail to float in midair. As we have seen in previous trailers, Pokémon like Vulpix and Sandshrew will also be receiving redesigns in the new games.

While many of the original monsters are considered classics, we have now been left wondering which other Pokemon will be receiving new forms in the latest games.

Pokémon Sun and Moon will be released for the Nintendo 3DS in November. Watch the latest trailer below:
