The popular Southampton festival Common People has confirmed the dates for it’s 2017 festival.

The Festival, which is held on Southampton Common, will take place once again over the May Bank Holiday weekend on 27th-28th May 2017.

Common People is a mixed music and art festival renowned for it’s laid back nature, and last year featured performances from Duran Duran, Craig David and Rob da Bank. The music event has already had two very successful years and shows no sign of slowing down, with more and more acts signing up to the vastly growing event. It has also attracted widespread praise from acts involved.

Rob da Bank commented: “Wow Southampton. Didn’t think you’d be able to top 2015 but I was very wrong! The sunshine, the crowd, the music, the food, the World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle, Craig David’s homecoming performance- Wow! Thanks for one of the best weekends so far this year. Can’t wait to be back!”

Common People 2017 will be held between 27th-28th May 2017. Watch highlights of last year’s festival below.
