There’s a brand new Game of Thrones trailer with a goblet-load of new footage. And the dead are coming.
Things are looking very ominous for pretty much every character in the HBO series, but especially Arya (Maisie Williams) and Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) in scenes that show that not even these two strong women are safe.
The promo for ‘The Red Woman’ serves like a Greatest Hits compilation for every single character this season, and the challenges that await them when the show returns on 24th April.
Highlights include Sansa seeking revenge on the Boltons, Cersei promising blood and preparing an army and the White Walkers on the comeback trail. It also seems that Theon’s sister isn’t quite ready give up on her sibling and Tyrion finally comes face to face with one of Dany’s ferocious dragons. We’ve already got some quotable lines too – “That’s what I do. I drink and I know things.”
Game of Thrones: Season 6 will be simulcast on Sky Atlantic at 2am on April 25, at the same time as it airs in the US, and will be repeated at 9pm the same day.
