Disclosure have released a new track – ‘Jaded’ – which has been lifted from their upcoming album, Caracal.
The new track follows on from previous new material featuring Sam Smith, Kwabs, Lion Babe and Gregory Porter, but this time the Lawrence brothers have chosen not to include guest vocals in ‘Jaded’. Instead, Howard Lawrence is at the forefront of the track. The video does however feature a very brief cameo from frequent collaborator, Sam Smith.
The visuals continue the dystopian sci-fi video series, in the same vein as past singles; ‘Holding On’ featuring Gregory Porter and ‘Omen’ featuring Sam Smith. ‘Jaded’ is the third and penultimate video directed by Ryan Hope, which sees lead character Mariella subjected to hypnosis.
Caracal will be released on 25th September and will see more collaborations from the likes of Lorde and The Weeknd.
