First set of headliners revealed for Apple Music Festival

The first set of headliners have been announced for Apple Music Festival, a relaunched version of the iTunes Festival.

Florence + the Machine, Disclosure, Pharrell Williams and One Direction are the first four acts to be unveiled as performers at the festival, with more acts to be announced shortly.

Following the iTunes Festival formula, Apple Music Festival will take place over ten nights from 19th September to 28th September at London’s Roundhouse. Each evening will see a headline and support act take to the stage.

The relaunch of the festival follows the launch of Apple’s new streaming service.

Previous performers at the iTunes Festival include Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, Tony Bennett, Elton John, Muse, Lana Del Rey and Arctic Monkeys.
