Preview: dodie at The Old Fire Station, Bournemouth

Singer/songwriter/ukulele owner dodie will be at Bournemouth’s Old Fire Station in March, as part of her seven date tour, including a show at London’s Bush Hall that sold out in minutes.

She started on YouTube, uploading original songs and covers on her main and side channels, ‘doddleoddle’ and ‘doddlevloggle’. She has over 95 million views and 890,000 subscribers on her main channel, and has just finished ‘vedim’, ‘Video Every Day In March’. Her first music video was released on her Vevo on December 9th, which has over 2.8 million views.

 

She released her first EP, Intertwined, on November 18th. It reached #35 in the UK album charts during its first week of release, despite her not being signed. 

 

She toured for the first time in 2014 alongside Bry, and the two of them toured Australia and New Zealand in 2015. She’s also supported Bethan Leadley, and in May and October of 2016 she toured with Tessa Violet, Rusty Clanton, Jesse Cale, Dante and Jon Cozart in the US.
