Self-styled “proud cows on acid” The Hyena Kill will be coming to Southampton as part of their headline tour of the UK.

Starting off in their home town of Manchester, the duo will sweep through Sheffield, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Liverpool then come down south to play The Notes Cafe before wrapping things up in London, Bath and Milton Keynes. Support acts are yet to be confirmed.

The two-piece, comprising Steven Dobb (guitar, vocals) and Lorna Blundell (percussion), released their debut album Atomised in late May of this year to the open arms of critics and fans alike. Barely a few months later and they have already played a stunning variety of support shows throughout Europe as well as opening the Jagermeister Stage on Friday 12th August at Bloodstock Festival.

You can call The Hyena Kill whatever you like: blues, stoner rock, punk, experimental. But there is no denying that this young band are well on their way to major recognition. This gig should not be missed.

Tickets are available here for £5.50. Doors at 19:00.
