Irish rock band Kodaline are back touring after recently releasing their second album Coming Up For Air.
Embarking on a seven-date UK tour, the four-piece originating from Dublin are looking to build on their incredible success with debut album In A Perfect World which peaked at No. 3 in the UK Album Charts in mid-2013. It featured popular singles such as ‘High Hopes’, ‘Love Like This’ and ‘All I Want’, with the latter being particularly successful – including serving as the backing music to Google’s 2012 Review video.
Coming Up For Air, released in early February, has had one released single, ‘Honest’, that peaked in the UK Top 20. Lead singer Steve Garrigan’s voice is definitely something to behold when seeing this band live, arguably sounding just as good live as on their records – as seen in their recent BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance, where the quartet covered Ed Sheeran’s Sing to great aplomb.
There are only tickets to Kodaline’s Nottingham gig left as all the others, including Southampton, have sold out.
