Wolf Alice are a fresh new indie band from North London who had a huge breakthrough in 2014 with their hugely acclaimed Creature Songs EP. The band started out as an acoustic two-piece made up of Ellie Rowsell and Joff Oddie but transformed into an electric foursome after Joel Amey and bassist Theo Ellis joined in 2012. Soon afterwards they found themselves receiving airplay on BBC Radio 1 and on NME’s ‘Radar’ list.

What followed was a plethora of sold out headline shows and packed festival slots at Glastonbury, Reading/Leeds and Bestival.  Their explosion into the UK music scene culminated in the band being named on the long list for the BBC Sound of 2015 and winning Best Breakthrough Artist at the recent UK Festival Awards.

Now, Wolf Alice are making even bigger leaps and bounds. The group has just announced an extended run of dates for the beginning of 2015 including support dates with ALT-J. In addition to this the grunge-pop up and comers are already in the studio working on their debut album.

Tickets for their European tour can be bought here.
