Fans have been urged to wear either fancy dress or formal attire, something that has become the norm for Arcade Fire concert-goers. The band returns to London for their biggest show in three years. Their two nights at Earls Court will be building up to the height of their ‘Reflektor’ tour at Hyde Park’s British Summer Time on 3rd July. Across the two dates, the band will be joined by Owen Pallett and Lorde, with DJ sets from Pulp’s Steve Mackey and 2 Many Djs.
The Reflektor tour follows the much-awaited release of the band’s fourth album of the same name in October 2013 after the success of ‘The Suburbs’ in 2010. As if a seven piece band was not exciting enough, the band will also be joined by previous core member Sarah Neufield who featured strongly on ‘Neon Bible’ and ‘The Suburbs,’ and an addition of three other members (including Owen Pallett)- raising the bands presence to just shy of a dozen members.
The anticipation for the critically-acclaimed band’s return to London is undoubtedly high, which gives us high hopes for an amazing atmosphere on both dates at London’s Earls Court.
