Shy Nature, a North London four-piece, met in late 2012 and have gained fast fame. Their debut track ‘Deadly Sin‘ gained the band immediate support, receiving national airplay on Radio 1 as Huw Stephens’ BBC Introducing track of the week in June 2013. Their latest EP Shy Nature, was released in mid September 2013 and was summarised as having “more hook-heavy giants than a fair few debut full-lengths” according to DIY magazine. The band’s new single ‘Lie Back‘ is to be released on the 17th February 2014 to tie in with their current headline tour. Tending to couple bright, upbeat melodies with darker lyrics, the band’s indie-rock music makes for easy listening and stellar live show performances.

Having supported both Splashh and The Breeders on recent UK tours, the band are gaining quick fans, as well as a spot in this year’s ‘The Great Escape‘ festival in Brighton. Southampton is the penultimate date in their seemingly successful UK tour. The band’s path to fame is no doubt quickening with their continued efforts to tour and write original music.
