Superfood are a four-piece band that hail from Birmingham. They have gained words of good favour in the indie music scene after their recent signing with Infectious Records (both Alt-J and The Temper Trap having signed to them). Not only this, but they’ve also supported Peace on their recent UK tour. They are following in the footsteps of many new, young, B-Town bands before them, from popular bands such as Swim Deep and Peace to rising bands like Jaws.

The band is comprised of Dom Ganderton (lead vocals/guitar), Ryan Malcolm (vocals/lead guitar), Emily Baker (bass) and Carl Griffen (drums). Their first single ‘Superfood‘ was released earlier this year, a solid debut track living up to the hype. They have gone from strength to strength, with the recent release of their new track ‘Bubbles‘, and they are on the verge of releasing an official EP after their recent signing. Their Barfly show will be another step in the right direction, well known for its prestige and with previous performances including Adele, The Strokes and Coldplay, fame is set on the horizon for this big city band.
