Since forming in 2009, Mallory Knox has become one of the leading names in Britain’s rock genre. With the EP, ‘Pilots’ under their belt and the addition of the contagious album Signals, released earlier this year, the band have certainly made their break in the rock scene. Scuzz have evennamed them‘ones to watch for serious success in the future’.
After the screaming success of Signals, fans were exceptionally pleased to hear of the news of a second 2013 tour commencing at Norwich on the 9th November before sailing on over to local venue ROXX to play on the 25th of the same month. With fifteen gigs crammed into seventeen days, reaching as far as Edinburgh, it’s going to be a toughest trip yet for the five Cambridge boys and I certainly hope they deliver the performance I (and the rest of the fans) are expecting.
Supporting Mallory Knox through this tough fortnight are the less well known, but no less epic, bands Blitz Kids and CROOKS. Thankfully these support acts will compliment the headliners so perfectly that the atmospheres of the performances are going to be nothing other than pure adrenaline-fuelled evenings, those of which no rock lover should miss.
So far, the young band have had a non-stop year with the release of Signals and their fantastic shows at Reading and Leeds. Let’s hope Mallory Knox can keep up the pace when they rock out locally.
