Christmas Film Archive Competition!

0

Everyone (well, very nearly everyone) loves Christmas and Disney, so we thought the perfect way to launch a new series of film competitions for The Edge would be to team up with The Walt Disney Company and offer a DVD of Avengers Assemble and a PS3 game of Disney/Pixar’s Brave as a prize for one lucky winner! All you have to do is write a review (400 – 550 words) of your favourite Christmas film. There are loads of options, from The Muppet Christmas Carol (pictured) to The Polar Express, Love Actually to Miracle on 34th Street, and countless others. Remember, you are making the case for why people should not go through the Christmas season without seeing it!

To enter, sign up for an Edge account (post your name and email address here http://www.facebook.com/groups/263972663715974/) then when you’ve been sent your login details submit your review with the words CHRISTMAS COMP in the title. Simple!

The review we think is the best will be chosen. It will also be printed in the Christmas issue of The Edge. Entrants must be a current student of the University of Southampton. Current Edge writers are allowed to enter, and it is now open to committee members too, with the exception of the Editor and the Film Editor.  Closing date: Tuesday 20th  November.
