Number nine on The Edge’s countdown is Hot Chip’s fifth studio album, their first release since 2010’s One Life Stand. The record reached number fourteen on the UK album charts and has yielded three singles; ‘Night & Day,’ ‘How Do You Do?’ and ‘Don’t Deny Your Heart.’

The most complete Hot Chip album to date. This time taking influences from 90’s house and 80’s disco funk, a mixture of short snappy singles such as ‘Night and Day’, 7-minute epics including ‘Flutes’ and my personal highlight ‘These Chains’.
