True Blood has revealed the trailer for its 7th season, which will also be the show’s last ever.
The trailer premiered yesterday on HBO, just before the screening of Fast & Furious 6. The news follows a previously released teaser and countdown promo.
The fantasy-drama focuses on a telepathic waitress, named Sookie, who discovers a supernatural world when meeting the enigmatic Bill, who turns out to be a vampire. Season seven focuses on the chaos that is Bon Temps (where the show is set) and Sookie facing the blame that has been placed on her by the majority of townspeople.
True Blood, which started in 2008, was created for the screen by Oscar-winning Alan Ball, who wrote the Kevin-Spacey-starring American Beauty. The series is based on a multitude of books written by Charlaine Harris, and stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer.
True Blood returns to UK screens on 7th July, on Fox. Watch the trailer below.
