Our very own SUSU Showstoppers’ latest performance is Frank Loesser’s How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. This musical sees a restless, creative and ambitious window washer, named J. Pierrepoint Finch, find a book (the namesake of the title), and decide to climb the corporate ladder.

Soon enough, Finch finds himself facing the dog-eat-dog corporate world, where he must learn to rely on his own wits, and ultimately his heart, in order to survive. James Cook, Robin Harris and Emma Bryant star in this Showstoppers adaptation of the musical.

Its standout score, by Loesser, features classics such as the rousing ‘Brotherhood of Man’, while the book the musical is based on won a Pulitzer Prize. The actual musical itself has additionally won nine Tony Awards across three revivals.

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying is at the Annex Theatre from 20th-23rd April.
