ITV have released a trailer for their new film in the Agatha Christie’s Poirot series, Elephants Can Remember. The feature-length drama, which stars David Suchet as the famous Belgian detective and My Family actor Zoe Wannamaker as Ariadne Oliver, will air this Sunday. It is an adaptation of Christie’s 1972 novel of the same name, though it is believed ITV will set story during the 1930s as they have done with many of their adaptations.

The film has been a co-production between ITV Studios and Agatha Christie Limited.

It has been nearly eighteen months since ITV aired a new episode of Agatha Christie’s Poirot. This film marks the start of a new series of adaptations that will take views up to Curtain: Poirot’s Last Case, which will air sometime this year.

Agatha Christie’s Poirot: Elephants Can Remember airs Sunday 9 June on ITV HD and ITV.
