Cambridge rockers Mallory Knox will be travelling to the Portsmouth Pyramids on 25th November on the fourteenth leg of a sixteen date UK headline tour.
2014 has been a massive year for the band, receiving rave reviews from highly regarded names such as Zane Lowe and Fearne Cotton, and with their eagerly anticipated second album, Asymmetry, having dropped at the end of October. They have played a host of high profile shows during the year, including supporting A Day To Remember on the UK leg of their tour back in February, an appearance at the Reading and Leeds Festivals, as well as performing ‘Lovers On The Sun‘ by David Guetta during “Even More Music Month” on BBC Radio 1.
The band, formed back in 2009, spent the first year or so together writing music and playing local gigs, but following the release of their debut EP, Pilot, in 2011, their fan base started to widen and spread beyond the local Cambridge rock scene and across the UK. By 2013 and the release of their debut album, Signals, the five-piece had established a loyal, dedicated fan base and were playing shows all over the UK. Arrive at the present day and times could not be anymore exciting for Mallory Knox.
All the dates for this tour started selling a lot quicker than was anticipated, backed up by the fact that a second date at the Electric Ballroom in London had to be added due to the first date selling out so quickly, and that can only be testament to the hard work and dedication this band have put into producing inspiring music as a reward to their loyal fans.
