Behind Door Number 12….

Not very many films can survive the curse of the sequel, and it’s safe to say that Shrek is one of those films. But the fact that nobody gave a toss come the release of Shrek the Third didn’t stop the lovely people of Dreamworks making a Christmas special for our viewing pleasure. And although Shrek the Halls is largely not worth writing home about, the scene behind door 12 on The EDGE advent calendar is genius. When Gingy reminisces about personal ghosts of Christmas past, he demonstrates why we should spare a thought for our doughy friends when we put out mince pies for Santa Claus on New Years Eve…. Enjoy!
