For me, there is nothing that epitomises Christmas time more than a good festive movie. And having already delved into the brilliant Nightmare Before Christmas, the next logical step would have to be Jim Hensen’s holiday masterpiece, The Muppets Christmas Carol. Taking it’s inspiration from the novel of the same title, it’s a hilarious yet poignant look at a classic tale, re-mastering it to suit a younger (or more juvenile) audience. In the scene found behind The EDGE advent calendar on December 11th, the ghosts of Jacob Marley sing probably one of the least cited songs of the movie as a whole, making it incredibly underrated. Enjoy this slightly macabre look at the festive season!
