A new trailer has been unveiled for the upcoming sequel of 2012’s The Woman in Black, The Woman in Black: Angel of Death.
The teaser trailer itself reveals very little about the plot, but promises to deliver on the horror-front with spooky aesthetics and eerie sound.
The new film, directed by Tom Harper, is to be set during the Second World War; four decades after the original Daniel Radcliffe-starring film. The Eel Marsh House is placed under the possession of the government and, as a result, is converted into a military mental hospital. With more and more patients suffering from the Woman in Black’s ghostly presence, a nurse steps in to save the patients from the demonic forces.
The new film will star the likes of Helen McCrory and Jeremy Irvine and will hope to match the prosperity of its predecessor, which has become the UK’s most successful horror of all time.
The film is due for release 13th February 2015. Watch the trailer below.
