Preview for Lady Gaga’s axed music video leaks

The preview for Lady Gaga’s axed music video which was to accompany the ‘Do What U Want’ single has been leaked online.

The preview sees R Kelly acting as a doctor, with Gaga as the patient, to then see a very much unclothed Gaga rolling around, enveloped in newspapers. The video supports the track’s message that the media can do what they want with Lady Gaga’s body, but they certainly cannot take her heart or use her mind.

The video, which was shot back in September last year, was supposed to be released in December 2013, but got axed due to rumours regarding its controversial nature as well as Lady Gaga posting that she was ‘gravely mismanaged’ which contributed to the video not being released.

The video was directed by Terry Richardson who also directed Miley Cyrus’ contentious video for ‘Wrecking Ball’.

‘Do What U Want’ was the second single to be lifted from Gaga’s most recent number one album, ARTPOP. It features R Kelly and followed lead single ‘Applause’.
