The Ting Tings have unveiled their new, disco-inspired single, ‘Wrong Club’.

The single is to be taken from the band’s upcoming third studio album, its title currently unknown. The upcoming album has been recorded in Ibiza and is to be released later this year.

When discussing the new track, the duo said: “It’s about feeling like you don’t fit in – finding someone you can leave with – finding someone like you – finding someone who likes you – even if you can’t dance like the rest.” They continued with: “It’s a dark take on a good time… Finding your place on the dance floor… Or shunning the stereotypes around you because they can’t see your vision regardless how wrong or right.”

The upcoming new album will be a follow-up to 2012’s Sounds from Nowheresville which didn’t do as commercially well as their debut, We Started Nothing, which features hit singles ‘That’s Not My Name’ and ‘Shut Up and Let Me Go’. We Started Nothing, which was released back in 2008, reached number one in the UK charts.
