Ready to walk on the wild side? Blissfields goes for Guinness World Record

0

To celebrate the theme of this year’s Blissfields Festival (Walk on the Wild Side!) festival goers are invited to join in a Guinness World Record attempt for the ‘Largest Gathering of People Wearing Animal Prints’ on the 4th of July.

If successful, every participant will receive an official Guinness World Record certificate (and who doesn’t want one of those?!) Taking part is easy; guests should wear

  • ‘One main top garment (shirt/jacket/onesie) which resembles the skin and fur of an animal, e.g. cheetah, leopard, zebra.
  • AND one other element, which can be an accessory (scarf, socks).’

Adopted charity of this year’s festival, the ‘Born Free Foundation’ which highlights the importance of wildlife conservation, will be helping out with the attempt and the festival organisers are also looking for a sponsor.

If you are attending Blissfields and you’d like to take part, make sure you register in advance. For more information and tickets visit the Blissfields website.
