MTV Movie Awards 2014: The Winners

2014’s MTV Movie Awards, broadcast last night, saw the second instalment of The Hunger Games walk away with the most awards. The film managed to bag Movie of the Year, Best Female Performance and Best Male Performance, despite stiff competition from the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Lupita Nyong’o.

The evening also saw the presentation of the Generation Award to Mark Wahlberg, star of The Fighter and Lone Survivor. The award, which celebrates a great achievement in film, has previously been awarded to the likes of Johnny Depp, Jamie Foxx and Tom Cruise.
