Welsh rock band, Kids in Glass Houses, have made the decision to split. The news was revealed on their Facebook earlier this morning.

The post read: ‘This is the end of Kids in Glass Houses. Amicably and on our own terms. The way we always promised ourselves it would be’. The post then continued, thanking all their supporters and reliving a brief history of their success from sitting ‘in a rehearsal-space-come-office-unit on an industrial estate in Taff’s Well’ to playing at ‘Reading Festival Main stage’.

The band also revealed that they would be having a farewell tour all over the UK, commencing in October this year. The post then ended with their lyrics: ‘Stop wishing for the sunshine. Start living in the rain’.

Over their career, Kids in Glass Houses have released four studio albums, with each one entering the UK top 40. They have also had single hits, with the likes of ‘Matters At All’ and ‘Give Me What I Want’.

Ticket bundles for their farewell tour are available to buy now. Watch the video for Kids in Glass Houses’ ‘Undercover Lover’ from their second studio album, Dirt.
