Bombay Bicycle Club has announced plans to tour in spring next year. The tour, which will begin on Sunday 2nd March at Leeds 02 Academy, will span 15 dates and cover a range of venues across the UK including the Portsmouth Guildhall, the Manchester Albert Hall and the London 02 Academy Brixton.

The news comes shortly after the band unveiled their latest single, ‘Carry Me’. The single is the first track from the band’s fourth album which is due to be released on February 3rd 2014. The band released three studio albums in two years between 2009-2011. The forthcoming album will be Bombay Bicycle Club’s  first since 2011’s Shuffle, which peaked at number 6 in the UK album charts.

Speaking to NME about the change in their sound for the fourth album, frontman Jack Steadman said: “The songs seem like a brave step in a new direction. From our point of view, it’s stuff that’s been happening for almost a decade now – we’ve always changing”.  He adds: “The stage we are at now, is that the expectation is the unexpected. So when people hear our single and it sounds completely different, then that comforts them I think because that’s what they want”.

Tickets will be available from  9am on Wednesday 13th November for fan presale and from 9am Friday 15th November for general sale. For more information, click here.
