• News articles can be written for any entertainment news and should be submitted as soon as the story breaks. There is no point writing a news article on a story which everyone found out about three days ago. These articles should follow the inverted pyramid style, with the most important information at the beginning, with additional information in longer paragraphs later in the article. Be as concise as possible, including all relevant facts and avoiding off-topic discussion. The title of the article should be as short as possible whilst stating the facts, e.g. “Danny O’Donoghue quits The Voice,” or “Grad Ball headliner fails to perform.”
