Ominous

Dirty and loud.

What I love so much about YAK is how they couple a retro vibe with the identity of British indie so harmoniously. The new single, ‘Plastic People’, is a perfect example of this. The track embodies a youthful unhinged attitude with a sleazy guitar riff that transcends menacing vocals and slurred lyrics. The entire track is dripping with wickedness, and is hard evidence for why their live reputation is dubbed as an electrifying (and sometimes dangerous) experience.
