Duke Dumont ft. A*M*E – ‘Need U (100%)’

0

Duke Dumont is one of those names that you hear in terms of fantastic producing and DJing, very much on the down-low and never in the spotlight. Yet earlier this month he bagged a number one single with ‘Need U (100%)’ featuring the fabulous newcomer A*M*E. With re-workings of tracks such as ‘Daniel’ by Bat For Lashes into club-worthy bangers under his belt it is evident that he has an ear for a floor filler.

‘Need U (100%)’ catapulted him into the forefront as he collaborated with MNEK and the fresh new sound of A*M*E. Her vocals perfectly suit the track as they are layered over a beat reminiscent of 90s house. It graduates towards techno as the song comes to a close and this combo makes it very up to date. It’s a great club track, yet nothing ground breaking, especially with the likes of Daft Punk making a comeback with their insanely catchy ‘Get Lucky’. One that’s already dubbed ‘song of the summer’.
