All Time Low are back with a brand new single after their 4th studio album Dirty Work was released in 2011. The track titled ‘The Reckless and The Brave’ was released on June 1st 2012 and available to download for free to those that tweeted the track to their followers. It’s a promising sign for their next album set to be released later this year with the band wanting fans to hear it ‘sooner rather than later’.
The track definitely doesn’t disappoint. For those who have been life-long fans of All Time Low, the catchy lyrics and chant-like choruses for which they are famous for remain. Alex Gaskarth sings out lyrics about the society we live in from start to finish, his famous tone making fangirls week at the knees. It’s nothing ground-breaking yet it shows progression from the band with every single being more polished than the previous one.
I for one can say I’m very excited for the new album to see whether All Time Low are progressing further as a band or simply conforming to the mainstream attributes that come with the pop-punk label and losing their individuality.
