After the negative feelings caused by the film itself (leading to Winehouse’s father’s plans to make his own film), the album will showcase everything fans love about the late singer: with alternative versions of some of her best songs, as well as rare live sessions. Kill The One You Love is the debut album from DC duo GEMS. Combining wistful vocals and slick electronic work, the album builds on their previous repertoire that features their 2013 EP Medusa, but with added zeal and aggression. Out via Carpark Records.
Welsh metal outfit Skindred bring their sixth studio album, Volume. Headed by the release of ‘Under Attack’, the album was recorded at Strongroom studio in London and is produced by James ‘Lerock’ Loughrey, of Depeche Mode and Manic Street Preachers fame. Out via Napalm Records.
