Despite bringing with it Demi Lovato’s fifth album Confident, this week’s strengths are in its singles. Glittering with a collaboration between Marina and the Diamonds and Clean Bandit, this week will also see the release of new music from Diplo and Lost Frequencies.

Confident marks Demi Lovato’s fifth studio album. Headed by the unquestionably catchy ‘Cool For The Summer’, the epynomous track was released last month and shows a darker side to Lovato, as she takes control of the lyrics, questioning “what’s wrong with being confident?”. Out via Island.

John Newman brings us his his sophomore album, Revolve, this week- the follow up to last year’s Tribute. The album will showcase Newman’s slick vocals and malleable pop sound, as found on his popular summer single ‘Come And Get It’. Out via Island.

A year after dropping his Indigo Child EP, Raury is set to drop his debut album, All We Need. Featuring production from Daytrip, Malay and Danger Mouse, Raury’s hiphop influences can be found side by side with a more melodious softness, depending on the track. Out via Columbia.

First performed at Coachella, and the first single since Clean Bandit’s debut album, ‘Disconnect’ is the latest love child of this amazing collaboration from Clean Bandit and Marina and the Diamonds. The disco/funk hook really makes the single, ensuring that spontaneous dancing and singing will ensue. Out via Atlantic.

‘Be Right There’ by Diplo & Sleepy Tom is a twist on a 90s classic. This certainly could be the next club anthem with its seriously catchy chorus and infectious beat. Diplo’s previous work with the likes of Madonna and Skrillex sets sights high for this track. Out Via Mad Decent.

Having been described as both indie dance and deep house, ‘Reality’ by Lost Frequencies has all the right vibes for lone listening or a crowd sing along. The track already has huge premature popularity. With only two singles out, expect big and exciting things from this new and upcoming artist. Out via The Bearded Man.
