Charli XCX unveils new video


Charli XCX has revealed the music video for her new track ‘Boom Clap’ which is to feature on the upcoming The Fault in Our Stars soundtrack.

The video is filmed in Amsterdam and features Charli XCX, along with clips from The Fault in Our Stars. The video is decorated with lyrical typography in a cartoon-style and vibrant superimpositions. It also features the iconic quotation ‘Okay.’ that has become a trademark of the upcoming film.

The Fault in Our Stars‘ soundtrack also features the likes of Ed Sheeran, Jake Bugg, Birdy, Kodaline and Tom Odell. The film itself is an adaptation from the latest John Green novel and is to hit UK cinemas on 20th June.

Charli XCX has released two studio albums, with her debut released back in 2008, and her upcoming third studio album to be released this September. She has also featured in hit singles ‘I Love It’ and ‘Fancy’, the latter reaching number one in the US.
