The first single from Wolf Alice‘s Creature Songs EP, ‘Moaning Lisa Smile’, now has some visuals to accompany it.
The video, directed by Ozzie Pullin, sees lead singer Ellie Rowsell, playing the shy outsider Lisa. It is a tale of self-discovery, and finding happiness in unlikely places. Lisa is faced with obstacles along the way, but is soon saved by the remaining band members of Wolf Alice, dressed in drag, as they help Lisa to come out of her shell.
The bands EP Creature Songs is out now. They will be performing at Glastonbury this year on Saturday 28th June on the John Peel stage.
