Gorillaz have announced their first live event, headlining their own festival ‘Demon Dayz’ at Dreamland, Margate.

After working on their new album for two years, Albarn finally informed fans last month that the album was complete and rehearsals were underway. Taking place on June 10th, the animated band have booked Dreamland theme park in Kent to return to the live music scene.

This follows the release of their anti-Trump single ‘Hallelujah Money’, released at the start of this year, which was their first release since their 2011 album The Fall.

Tickets go on sale 9am Friday March 10th, prices ranging from £60-£90 and can be found on the Demon Dayz website with more acts to be announced soon.
