Second full length trailer released for Logan – Watch

20th Century Fox have today released a second trailer for their upcoming third Wolverine movie, Logan, which is expected to be Hugh Jackman’s final appearance in the role.

The trailer continues on in a similar vein to the first trailer, released back in October, in regards to both tone and imagery, but centres more on newcomer Dafne Keen’s character, Laura Kinney, perhaps better known as X-23. There are also short glimpses of some of the film’s action sequences, showing both Wolverine and X-23 in action and not shying away from the graphic violence and language expected by this film’s targeted R (or 15) rating, a decision made in large part due to the huge critical and commercial success of 2016’s Deadpool.

A recently released synopsis of the film details the plot as follows: ‘In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempt to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.’

Starring alongside Jackman and Keen will be Patrick Stewart, returning as Professor X, and features the X-Men universe debuts of both Boyd Holbrook as Donald Pierce and Stephen Merchant as Caliban.

Logan will be released in the UK on 2nd March 2017, watch the newest trailer below:
