The full lineup for Raise And Give’s (RAG) Breastival event today at The Cube has been fully confirmed.
Joining the already confirmed Josh Baum, Aaron Lewns and Charlie Hawkins are MYRIAD, Kitty O’Neal and Nine Ace Deck.
Kitty O’Neal is a London and Southampton-based singer-songwriter. Festival-goers can expect to hear songs, a blend of Folk and Acoustic sound inspired by Damien Rice, Leonard Cohen and more recently, Agnes Obel, encapsulating past experiences of anything that has played on her mind long enough to turn it into one.
Nine Ace Deck are an exciting vibrant live-act blending a mix of Funk, Rock and their own unique twist of Heavy Brass. Having played gigs this year supporting the likes of Danny Ladwa and Sun Arcana, this band’s unique noise, and indeed their future seems bright with a debut EP in the offing.

Last but not least, MYRIAD, like Nine Ace Decks are one-of-our-own, having been formed in Southampton and having played recently at venues like The Alexandra Pub and The Talking Heads. They pride themselves in creating their own original music, but still do excellent covers of other bands.
The event, which raises money for cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now is taking place for it’s second year in a row. RAG Volunteer Co-ordinator Charlie Morris told The Edge about the event, saying: ‘Breastival is going to be a brilliant night filled with live music, cocktails and dancing.’ She continued, adding, ‘It’s a great chance to hear some up and coming bands who have already played festivals across the country all in aid of Breast Cancer Now. It’s a night out, you can feel good about.’
Issy Worrall, 2016/17’s RAG President also expressed her excitement at the event, stating, I’m so excited that we’re able to hold Breastival for the second year in a row!’ She also expresed thanks to MuSoc, affirming, ‘We love being able to collaborate with other student groups in order to raise money for some fantastic charities, including Breast Cancer Now!’
