Marvel announce Inhumans TV series

Marvel Entertainment have today announced a new television series, Inhumans which will join the MCU next year.

The series will be based off Inhuman comic hero Black Bolt, and his royal family. The comic Inhumans included Medusa, whose hair could grip and grab objects, the teleporting pooch Lockjaw, and elemental master, Crystal. These characters were first released in 1965 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Many are assuming that the new series, which will premiere next autumn is a replacement for the Inhumans movie, which was due to be released in 2019, but was placed on hiatus earlier this year by Marvel as they re-arranged projects.

Inhumans will make their second MCU appearance, having previously been a main focus for the second and third series of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. Main character Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennett) was revealed to be the Inhuman Quake during the second series.

The Inhumans TV series will premiere worldwide in 2017. Check out the Inhumans in action in Agents of SHIELD below:
