The new trailer for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is out and it looks awesome.
The trailer introduces the audience to Arthur, played by Charlie Hunnam, who is a young man who grew up on the streets but was born to be king.
The trailer blends a mix of action, humour and politics. Clips of fighting, running and war juxtapose the other scenes full of unconsciously funny conversations. All the while the voice-over of Arthur, and the man questioning him add a spark of hilarity to the trailer as the characters witty responses and overall manner of speaking add a very modern feel to the film, despite the ancient setting.
Guy Richie has also directed RocknRolla and the Sherlock Holmes films and King Arthur: Legend of the Sword promises to have the same energy, humour and visual mastery as Richies’ previous films.
The first impression left by the trailer is that this film is going to be a crazy mix of medieval and modern, original story and intelligent new additions, leading to what could very well be another box office success.
The film has an impressive cast, including stars such as Charlie Hunnam, Aidan Gillen, Djimon Hounsou, Jude Law, Eric Bana, Annabelle Wallis and Katie McGrath.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is set to hit theatres in the UK on the 24th March 2017.
