Three huge names in dance music have been announced to play Bestival’s new space-age stage.

DJ extraordinaires Diplo, Carl Cox and Fatboy Slim will play sets at the new rocket shaped stage this September.

Commenting on the new additions to the line-up, curator Rob da Bank said: “A veritable space oddity standing seven storeys high The Spaceport will beam out music day and night, lit by lasers with giant astronauts floating across the sky. Prepare for take-off, take your protein pills and put your helmet on. See you at The Spaceport in t-minus 196 days and counting…”

Diplo’s Major Lazer are already set to headline the festival on the Friday night, with The Cure and Hot Chip filling the other top spots. The likes of Craig David’s TS5, Years and Years, Wolf Alice, Beaty Heart and Jagwar Ma promise to create a line-up unrivaled by another festival. And what’s more, the fully immersive futuristic theme sets to propel festival goers into a star-studded realm unlike any other.

Tickets are available for Bestival here.
