A new Channel 5 trailer confirms that season ten of The X-Files will be airing early next February.

Though a specific air date has yet to be announced, the revival series is assumed to be broadcast a week or so after the US premiere on 24th January.

Channel 5 recently confirmed that they had acquired the rights to the long-awaited return of the 90’s phenomenon, along with 20 episodes handpicked by series creator, Chris Carter.

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprise their roles as FBI agents Mulder and Scully in the six-episode event series. The future already seems promising for The X-Files’ return, with rumours that the show may be commissioned for an eleventh season if this series is received well.
