Downton Abbey stars, Laura Carmichael and Samantha Bond are set to host a special one-off Q&A event at the Nuffield Theatre in February.

The evening will see the two actresses, who are both Nuffield Associates, discussing their lives in TV, theatre and film, as well as answering questions from the audience. Proceeds from the event will help raise funds for the Nuffield’s charitable activities.

Carmichael is perhaps best known for playing Lady Edith Crawley in Julian Fellowes’ phenomenal drama series, which came to an emotional close earlier this month.

Meanwhile Bond is endowed with a number of credited screen appearances, including her portrayal of Miss Moneypenny in the Pierce Brosnan era of the James Bond franchise, Auntie Angela in Outnumbered, and of course Downton, in which she played the role of Lady Rosamund Painswick.

Regular tickets for the event cost £25. If you are a friend or member of The Nuffield however, you can purchase tickets at the discounted price of £20.

For more information about membership and ticket details, visit the Nuffield website or call the box office on 02380 671 771.
