Quentin Tarantino was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Tuesday (22nd December).

The legendary director, whose greatest works include Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill and Inglorious Bastards, was honoured by the cast of his latest film The Hateful Eight (including long-time collaborator Samuel L. Jackson), at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Upon accepting the honour, Tarantino said:

“The first time I was at this theatre was in 1969, when I was seven years old and it was a Sunday afternoon; [my parents]took me on a trip to Hollywood and I saw Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid. So that was probably the first time I walked on this area of sidewalk which would eventually have my name on it.”

The honour came just in time for the upcoming release of Tarantino’s latest film, The Hateful Eight, starring Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson,  Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Tim Roth.

The Hateful Eight will be released in the UK on 8th January 2016. Watch the trailer below.
