It’s finally the day that every Back to the Future fan has been waiting for – 21st October 2015.

Today is the day that Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) and Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) travel back to the future in the second installment of the series. Yes, this is heavy.

And what sort of ‘Future Day’ would be complete without a message from Doc Brown himself? In a special video, Brown gives a reassuring message to us all, stating that whilst we may not have everything that Back to the Future: Part II predicted, the future is what we make it.

Posted on the movie series’ official Facebook page, Brown states: “Yes, it’s different than we all thought. But don’t worry, it just means your future hasn’t been written yet. No one’s has. Your future is what you make it, so make it a good one.”

The entire trilogy of Back to the Future is being shown back-to-back in dozens of cinemas across the UK today, while ITV2 is also hosting a special programme of events to commemorate the anniversary. You can read our review of Jaws 19 here.
